Our annual Holiday Craft and Back sale is right around the corner!

We are still looking for donations of baked goods (homemade or store bought), craft items, and gently used holiday decorations that are ready for a new home. If you are interested in donating any of these items please bring them to the front desk of our community by tomorrow evening.

We would also love for you to join us Friday to do a little holiday shopping and support our community. All proceeds from the sale go directly to special activities for our residents!

Snow is here—and so is Advent, said Rev. Scott Cartwright, Benedictine director of spiritual care, as he reflected on the season of Advent. Just as Minnesota snow is inevitable, so is the season of Advent, a time to embrace hope, peace, joy, and love. From Nov. 30 to Dec. 24, Christians reflect on Jesus’ coming and look forward with anticipation to his return. At Benedictine, we live these themes daily—through hopeful waiting, courageous peace-making, resilient joy, and self-giving love.
