A very interesting social experiment with significant results showing increased self esteem in these young girls, reduction of "bad" behavior in the young boys, and other great results.

Though the lines of gender expectations and norms blur more and more every day, I still wonder if we live in an "over" gendered society. I also wonder how a less gendered school experience would impact the mental health concerns currently prevalent in gender questioning and trans-identified people. Any thoughts?

In my practice as mental and relational health therapist, I've learned how difficult celebration can be for people. This is especially true when the celebration may come with mixed feelings, often coming from the influence of other people's judgements.

I love that as a community, we are finally acknowledging the mental, physical, and emotional work that goes into transitioning. Yay for Hallmark!
