Recently, The Hospital of Central Connecticut teamed up with emergency responders to run a full-scale mass casualty drill—spanning multiple locations and agencies.

From Willow Brook Park to the New Britain campus, this intense simulation tested communication, triage, and rapid response systems.

Because in a real emergency, practice could mean the difference between life and death.

A truly special moment unfolded at The Hospital of Central Connecticut this Father’s Day, as Sean Hendler and Golda Steinberg of Atlanta welcomed their daughter, Mabel Rae, via surrogate. Her arrival was a beautiful reminder of the extraordinary beginnings that happen every day at The Hospital of Central Connecticut.

🏃‍♂️ HHC was proud to be part of this year’s Branford Road Race on Father’s Day! Dr. Duarte Machado and Richard Foy hit the pavement in the 5-mile run, representing our commitment to the Parkinson’s community.

A full field of golfers teed off at The Hospital of Central Connecticut Auxiliary at New Britain General’s 34th Annual Golf Tournament last week at Tunxis Country Club.

The event raised $120,000, with proceeds benefiting The Hospital of Central Connecticut.
