After more than a month in our Cardiac medical rehab unit, one patient shared a powerful reminder of what compassionate, patient-centered care truly means—kindness at every touchpoint, from physicians and nurses to housekeeping, and a team who believed in them even when they struggled to believe in themselves.

We are deeply grateful for this trust—and incredibly proud of our providers, staff, and support teams who show up every day with skill, heart, and humanity. This is why we do what we do. 💙

Over the past year, we’ve witnessed remarkable examples of innovation, resilience, and hope. These moments remind us that healing rarely happens alone—it takes trust, collaboration, and a shared belief in patient-centered, outcome-focused care.

As we look to 2026, we welcome a new year with purpose and possibility. We are inspired by opportunities to meet the evolving needs of the communities we serve and championing our team as they make a difference every day.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! ✨

’Twas the night before Christmas, when Hospital for Special Care shone,
Not from snowfall or starlight, but hands all our own.
Our Facilities team placed each light with such care,
Bringing warmth to each room, hope into the air.

✨ Thank you to the Facilities team who helps our hospital shine bright, and to all, a good night!

Last week, our Adaptive Sports Program hosted two junior wheelchair basketball games and celebrated Senior Recognition Day, a reminder that adaptive sports are about more than competition.
They reflect the impact of healthcare, teamwork, and support in helping students build strength and confidence. With five seniors graduating in the spring of 2026, we are incredibly proud of the progress our students have made and were honored to celebrate their achievements.

This gingerbread village is more than a holiday display, it’s a reflection of creativity, connection, and hope. Crafted by our patients, each detail captures the spirit of the season and reminds us that our patients are the heart of everything we do. During this holiday season, we’re grateful for the moments of joy, expression, and togetherness that make healing possible.
