For those of you who may not have heard, last week my prayers were answered. I finally got the long awaited call that I have been praying for, and I got my new kidney last week.

Last Wednesday, I received the call early morning from Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. Tom and I rushed down there and I had my kidney transplant later that afternoon. The surgery went well, and had no complications, and I have been home recovering since Monday evening.

I'm so thankful for this gift of life, and I am happy to be home recovering. It is truly a Christmas Miracle, and prayers do get answered. Thank you everyone for your warm wishes, and please continue to pray for my speedy recovery. 🙏❤🫘

Hello everyone, for those who may not know, a rare disease called Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) runs in my family. It is a genetic disease that affects the kidneys and other surrounding organs. The growth of cysts cause the kidneys to become enlarged, and eventually lead to kidney failure.

Unfortunately, many of my family members have this disease, one of which includes my mother, Karen Rhodes. Time has come where she has been placed on the kidney transplant list, meaning she is now qualified to look for a living kidney donor. My mom has gone through multiple surgeries to drain the cysts to reduce the pain, and also had a partial nephrectomy on her right kidney to make room for the cysts to grow.

We are starting the search for anyone who would is interested in donating. If you, or anyone else you know, is interested in finding out if you are a match, contact me or my mom for more information.

Please like and share this page, or even pray for my mom— anything can help. Thank you so much, for it would mean the world to me, my mom, and the rest of our family. ❤️🙏🏻 ❤️
