On April 7, 2014 6 finalists worked hard on their proposals, presentations and videos about new organizations, movements and initiatives. Each finalist presented in front of a panel of judges and audience members voted for their favorite finalists. The Challenge presented $1000, $500, $250 grants to the top 3 finalists. The following finalists and winners were:
-Woahjabi (1st place)
-Project Dental For All (2nd Place)
-RUBY-Rutgers University Business for Youth (3rd Place)
-OATS- One and the Same
-Day of Dimes
-National Peacemakers Institute

Tonight is the Changemaker Challenge Finals! Come out to the Rutgers Student Center Multipurpose Room at 8pm and support our final six groups as they present about ways they plan to make change in the world! You can watch their videos as well on the Community Service at Rutgers page!

Kwame Otuo-Achampong never imagined that brushing and flossing his teeth would fascinate his friends in Ghana. Then again, the Rutgers University-Newark senior never expected people in his parents’ native country would still clean their teeth with something called a chewing stick.

On Feb. 14, Valentine's Day, a group of Rutgers Changemakers traveled on the Changemakers Bus to find out where they will be volunteering. The day was filled with trivia, giveaways, and organizing food at the Community Food Bank of NJ! Thank you to all of the Rutgers Changemakers & volunteers for joining us in this amazing day!
