We are deeply grateful to The Marisa Tufaro Foundation for honoring Marias’s life through a gift in support of The Child Life Program at the Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center and BMSCH. This generosity helps to ensure Marisa’s legacy will continue to touch the lives of children and families in our care with support of pet therapy and art therapy programs. 💜

These programs held special meaning for Marisa, who found comfort and joy through pet and art therapy during her hospitalizations. Support of our Child Life enhances our ability to care for the whole child – supporting not only medical needs, but also emotional well-being during some of life’s most difficult moments. Thank you for your continued support of our youngest patients!

When Holly was born, she spent months in the NICU at BMSCH. Today, she is 4 years old and celebrates each birthday by giving back to the babies, families, and staff who mean so much to her. She brought bags filled with rattles, books, and other goodies to the NICU staff, sharing her exciting birthday party plans and saying, “thank you for taking care of me.” ❤️

Thank you to Holly and the Pycior family, for your generosity and for letting us be part of your journey. ⭐

Help us build the future of cancer care in New Jersey. At RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Cancer Institute, we are in the midst of transforming cancer care and research. As the state’s only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, we are bringing elite, state-of-the-art freestanding cancer facilities to our neighborhoods.

But it’s about more than brick and mortar—it’s about the lives changed inside these walls.

With the recent opening of the Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center, the Melchiorre Cancer Center opening its doors this year, and the Specialty and Cancer Care Center on the Vogel Medical Campus following in 2027, your support fuels the research, prevention, and treatments that weren't possible yesterday.

Your donation directly impacts the health of our community for generations.
