A 9 Day Practice for Peace (Online)
Especially in times of war, we yearn for peace. We may feel helpless, anxious or angry that we can’t bring peace to the world. This is when it is most important and most beneficial to cultivate peace within our Self. By spending time in Peace, we reduce the impact of stress on our body and mind. We can inhale deeply and exhale fully. And when we practice Peace, we become Peace: the quiet grounding energy that calms and cools not only ourselves, but also those we are with.
Join Theresa for a 9-day online Peace Practice, March 19-27. We will gather each day at 8:30 AM ET | 7:30 AM CT for 20-30 minutes of peace-centered practices, which may include movement, meditation, mantra and/or guided relaxation. You can enjoy live or in replay.
This auspicious period is celebrated as Navaratri, the Nine Nights of devotion to the goddess, one of whose names is Shantimata, the Peaceful One. Theresa will also share a little bit about Navaratri during our practices.
Come as you are: in your PJs, work clothes or any comfy clothes. Kids and pets are welcome.
