If your experiencing seasonal depression or low energy Vitamin D deficiency might be the reason. There seems to be a correlation between lack of Vit D and depression with 30% - 40% of people in winter climates meeting the criteria for suboptimal levels of vitamin D.

I'm not a fan of fortified foods because in my mind I equate that with "processed", but I do take a supplement (which is also processed).

Diet is such a dirty word and it would make more sense to eradicate this word from your vocabulary. Instead focus on making better choices. Imagine food to be your closest partner and realize you’re a player in the relationship, arguably one of your most important and longest relationships you’ll have in a life time.

I really like the juxtaposition of this dreamy New England town of New Canaan… and the impatient horn honking in the background. It’s a crack in perfection which makes it feel that much more real.

There is just something about this visual that makes me feel calm and happy. If I had to articulate it I would say it’s the boxes, which are totally predictable and the pile of yoga mats that are just so divine in every way.. and the subdued palette. That too!
