🌟 A big thank you to everyone who joined us last night for Waveny’s Fraud Awareness Program!

We were honored to welcome Amy Perry, Senior VP from M&T Bank, who shared valuable insights on how to recognize and prevent online and financial fraud. Special thanks also to Sandy Graf from our local New Canaan branch for her support with the presentation.

With about 25 attendees on campus and another 20 joining virtually, it was an engaging evening filled with great questions and practical takeaways. Many participants expressed how helpful and timely the information was.

We’re grateful to our community partners and everyone who made this event such a success! 💙

Yesterday, Waveny Life Care Network hosted a vibrant Wild West-themed event at The Inn, where residents and guests enjoyed classic songs performed by our talented Inn Notes singers. There were also specially themed "Old West" goodies.

We are honored to showcase the incredible work of photographer Jeff Salguero, whose portraits feature childhood cancer survivors. Each image pairs a chemo port scar with gold—an artistic tribute inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese tradition of repairing broken pottery with gold to highlight beauty in what was once broken.

In the same way, Jeff’s portraits transform scars into symbols of resilience, courage, and hope. 💛

On Saturday, September 13th, Waveny LifeCare Network marked the end of summer with fun, food, and festivities as we celebrated our annual Village Family Picnic in Claire’s Garden.

We were fortunate to have phenomenal weather, and our residents and their loved ones were treated to amazing pizza provided by Adini's Pizza Truck. Live music filled the garden, and our own Gary Sirico aka “The Great Sirico” delighted children and adults alike with his roving magic tricks and fabulous balloon stylings. Attendees were also treated to music performed by Michael Rinaldi and Vincent Galizi. It was truly special day for our Waveny community.

🌟 This month at The Inn, we are honoring National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. 🌟

We are proud to showcase the incredible work of photographer Jeff Salgulero, who created a moving series of photos featuring children who have survived cancer. Waveny Hosts Joint Chamber Breakfast!

On September 10th, Waveny LifeCare Network was honored to host the Annual Darien/New Canaan New Connections Breakfast at Main Street, 3 Farm Road in New Canaan.

Nearly 70 attendees enjoyed a wonderful breakfast prepared by our talented food service team and experienced a bit of Waveny’s well-known hospitality.

This annual gathering is a terrific opportunity for business leaders from both New Canaan and Darien to mix, mingle, and strengthen connections. For Waveny, hosting this event reflects our commitment to community service and our role in fostering partnerships that help our community thrive.
