The Lighthouse Annual Barbecue was a warm and joyful gathering filled with laughter, good food, and a strong sense of community. Set on the expansive back lawn of our men’s recovery residence, friends and family came together to enjoy grilled favorites, fresh seafood, and homemade sides. Children played games on the lawn while adults shared stories and caught up as the sun set. The barbecue wasn’t just about the amazing food—it was about celebrating recovery, wellness, family, togetherness, and love.

Because our clients are out living their lives, we believe dinner time is when we have the opportunity to connect with each other. Every night, our culinary team led by Chef Fabrice, puts out amazing food that draws people in and sets the scene for comfortable easy interactions and conversation.

Recovery isn’t all about PHP, IOP, and therapy. Recovery is about connecting with others that you enjoy being around and we believe putting incredible food on the table is a conduit to this!

The only quantifiable marker of successful recovery is length of time engaged in treatment and recovery support services. Longer is better.

Having said that, this doesn’t mean you need to be away from your home and life all this time. In fact, people need to be connected to their lives so that they can practice and incorporate recovery skills every day!

At the Lighthouse, our clients benefit from our “ open community “ model and have freedom to do everything they normally do in their daily lives just with the support of our lighthouse team!
