This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

At Vancrest of New Carlisle, we are especially grateful for the opportunity to care for so many residents who have served in the armed forces. Their stories, service, and sacrifices are part of the heart of our Facility.

Throughout the day, we reflect, share memories, and honor those who gave everything for our freedom. We are proud to stand with our residents, families, and team members in recognizing the true meaning of this day.

Today, we gathered for a special Memorial Day service to reflect, remember, and honor. ❤️🤍💙

Together, we recognized and celebrated the veterans who are still with us, paid tribute to those who have gone before us, and took time to remember the residents we have lost over the past year.

Our Missing Man Table tribute served as a powerful reminder of those who are no longer seated with us but will never be forgotten.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in this meaningful time of remembrance and gratitude. 🇺🇸

Today was a sweet day at the facility! 🍓🍋

We enjoyed making and eating strawberry and lemon cake mix cookies together, and the kitchen was filled with great smells, laughter, and plenty of smiles. Simple activities like this bring everyone together and make the day a little brighter.

We’re already looking forward to the next treat we can create together!

Day five of National Nursing Home Week at Vancrest of New Carlisle was packed with creativity, laughter, and unforgettable moments! 🌟🎭
Our residents spent the morning creating fun judging paddles to prepare for the afternoon’s festivities. The excitement continued with a two-hour showcase featuring our resident talent show and a hilarious trash bag fashion runway competition!
Congratulations to Tilly for winning the resident talent show with an amazing performance! 👏✨ And after a very entertaining runway battle, our administration team took home the win in the trash bag fashion show! 🗑️👗😂
We also want to thank Day City Hospice for treating everyone to a refreshing hydration station throughout the day — the perfect addition to all the fun! 💧💙
Today was filled with smiles, creativity, teamwork, and memories we will be talking about for a long time! 💐

Day 4 of National Nursing Home Week at Vancrest of New Carlisle was all about blooming together like a beautiful bouquet of flowers! 🌸🌼🌺
This morning, residents and staff teamed up for some beach volleyball fun — and the teamwork and laughter were unmatched! 🏐☀️
This afternoon, we wrapped up the day with one of our residents’ favorite activities… BINGO! 🎉 Along with delicious mocktails served up for a refreshing treat. 🍹
Another day full of smiles, fun, and moments blooming into memories! 💐✨

This morning, our residents shared kindness by creating heartfelt thank you cards, and this afternoon was filled with sweet treats and smiles as we enjoyed apple pie sundaes and bingo together! 🍎🍨🎉
The laughter, gratitude, and special moments blooming throughout the week have made it one to remember! 💐
