I’m a Certified Birth Doula, Certified Breastfeeding Counselor, Postpartum Doula, and Perinatal Nutrition Educator, and I currently have limited openings for the 2026 birth year.
I attend births at Horizon and Magee’s. If you’re an expectant family planning ahead, or a birth worker in the New Castle, PA area, I’d love to connect and build community together!

The doula is an advocate.
Not a bystander.
Not a silent witness.
Not a body in the room just to “hold space” while harm goes unchecked.

If a doula cannot advocate, cannot speak up, remind, interrupt, or hold the line, then she does not belong in the birth room.

Because advocacy is the heartbeat of this work.
It is what protects consent.
It is what shields parents from unnecessary interventions.
It is what keeps power where it belongs: in the hands of the parents.

A doula who won’t advocate is like a lifeguard who won’t jump in the water.

And birth deserves better than that.

August 22nd is National Rainbow Baby Day 🌈 and it’s a day i’ll forever hold close to my heart.

rainbow babies are the babies born after loss.
they are proof that grief and joy can exist in the same heartbeat.

they are the cry that breaks through silence.
the warmth that follows cold hospital rooms.
the color that appears in a sky you thought would stay gray forever.

but here’s what people don’t say:
a rainbow baby doesn’t erase the storm.
they don’t replace the baby you lost.
they simply arrive carrying both:
the weight of absence
and the miracle of presence.

and that is why parents of rainbow babies love so fiercely.
because they know how fragile life is.
because they’ve held the ache of empty arms.
because they’ve learned joy tastes different when it’s been seasoned with grief.

so today and every day,
we honor the rainbows,
we speak the names of the babies who came before them,
and we hold space for the parents still waiting for their sky to clear.

the rainbow is not the end of the storm.
it’s the beginning of hope
and proof that even in the
darkest seasons, love will find a way.
