Congratulations to QLS-Chicora on being the 2026 Cook-Off Winners! Their Super Shaggy Sandwich of BBQ Brisket won over the judges in our television show themed event. The People's Choice Award went to the QLS-Westmont team for their M*A*S*H up of fun. The teams all did a great job and the residents loved eating out and enjoying the atmosphere at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Pittsburgh - Cranberry. Thank you Jordan of Butler County Chamber of Commerce, Sean of The Sports Grille at Cranberry and Adam of Acrisure Davevic Benefit Consultants, Inc. for taking on the difficult task of judging.

Beautiful inside and out! A talented group of students from Westmont Hilltop School District painted a beautiful spring mural on the windows of our Johnstown location. Harriet, QLS-Westmont's resident pianist entertained with classical music as the students painted their design. The residents loved watching them create their masterpiece and now can continue to enjoy it for days to come. Thank you to this wonderful group of young artist for making the world a better place.

The focus this quarter is Age-Friendly Health Systems and the 4Ms of Age-Friendly Care—What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility. Thank you DSD for making the dreams of our residents come true!

Our Dreamer Tom is a big sports fan and loves the Pens. Due to his physical limitations, attending a game was going to be a challenge. We teamed up with the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex so that Tom could watch a practice session. He was thrilled to watch Sid practice and to meet Erik Karlsson. Thank you Pittsburgh Penguins for making his day!
