Have you met our friend Kayla? If not, you would love to do so. She’s friendly, funny, and generous to a fault! But now she’s the one who is asking for help.
For the past 12 years, Kayla has been struggling with chronic kidney disease. At the age of 17, she received a kidney transplant which functioned well for seven years. However, for the past three years, she has been on dialysis. It’s not an ideal lifestyle for a vibrant 27 year woman (or anybody else).
Kayla is now in need of another kidney transplant. Having a live donor GREATLY increases the chances of this procedure being a long term success.
Kayla has a loving fiancé, they recently moved into a house of their own, and they dream of starting a family. Please consider becoming Kayla’s hero - you can truly make dreams come true.
