🪴🐾✨Busy Hands, happy hearts and lots of fun lately around here✨🐾🪴
Our residents have been keeping the calendar FULL and the smiles even fuller! From digging in the garden to creating homemade dog toys for our local shelter, to making fairy garden houses to pet therapy visits, there's been no shortage of creativity and kindness happening in our community.
And because fun isn't just for our residents...our team got a visit from the Happy Cart pushed by a friendly pup to spread a little joy to the amazing employees who help make everyday special around here!
Around here, there's always something blooming, baking, crafting, visiting, laughing or giving back-and we would not want it any other way💛

Yesterday we had the pleasure of celebrating our incredible volunteers at our appreciation luncheon, and what a wonderful time it was! from laughter to meeting new friends, it was a small way to show just how much they mean to us.

🌺An Evening of Elegance🌺
Our Spring Formal Dinner was nothing short of magical. Clear umbrellas hung upside down from above, filled with cascading greenery, creating a breathtaking garden-inspired atmosphere. Below, tables were adorned with fresh, beautiful florals that added the perfect touch of spring.
Residents enjoyed a delicious spread of appetizers and an incredible meal, all thoughtfully prepared by our amazing culinary team.
Moments like this are what it's all about-creating meaningful experiences, and making our residents feel truly special.

🩳Sometimes you just have to throw on your granny pants and have a little fun!!🩳
Our Activities Department has been bringing the energy lately for our staff-from hallway games, to a staff-favorite fun flavored soda bar there's even a surprise happy cart that goes around for our staff as well! Around here, we believe taking care of our team is just as important as caring for our residents💖

March was full of fun, laughter and a little bit of magic! We even had a special visit from a mischievous leprechaun to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. You just never know who will show up for Happy Hour!! From festive activities to joyful moments shared together, it was a month to remember!

Looking to Volunteer in the New Year?

As we step into a new year, we are looking for caring hearts to help bring joy, connection, and meaningful moments to our residents.
If you're interested in volunteering, we would love your help with:
-Assisting with activities
-One on One visits & companionship
-Sharing a special talent (Magic shows, playing an instrument, singing, crafts, etc)
-Partnering as a business or suggesting places our residents would enjoy visiting

If you're unable to volunteer your time, you can still make a wonderful impact through donations. We are currently accepting:

-Silk flowers and greenery
-Small plastic vases
-Beads for bracelets and/or bracelet kits
-Individually wrapped snacks
-Adult coloring books
-Large print word search books

Every act of kindness-big or small-helps brighten our residents' days and means more than you know!!

Zoo Day Fun! Our annual trip to the Indianapolis Zoo was a huge success! Residents enjoyed the dolphin show, got up close with kangaroos, and even met some curious monkeys. We made so many wonderful memories together!
