🌟 Please join us in celebrating our Star of The Week, Mrs. Vaughn! 🌟

Mrs. Vaughn arrived at The Waters in September following a fall that resulted in a fracture. With determination and the support of our incredible therapy team, she has now met all of her goals for strengthening and safety awareness — and is officially discharging home to the community!

She shared this beautiful message about her experience:

“I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation to the physical therapy department and staff at The Waters of New Castle for their outstanding care and dedication during my recent stay. Despite initial fears, I found the therapy experience to be highly rewarding, thanks to the team’s expertise, patience, and encouragement. From the first day, when Mark helped me get out of bed, to the subsequent sessions with Michele, Lindsey, Heather, and Alfred, I felt confident in their abilities. I appreciated the team’s collaborative approach and their commitment to my recovery. As I progressed, I began to look forward to our therapy sessions and even wished they were held more frequently. I also valued the social aspect of therapy and the snacks provided. I highly recommend The Waters’ therapy team to my loved ones and friends. Thank you again for your exceptional care.” – B. Vaughn

Our residents had a fang-tastic time celebrating Halloween with lots of treats, tricks, and terrifyingly cute costumes! From boo-tiful decorations to spine-tingling smiles, the halls were filled with laughter, candy, and magical memories!

We had everything from tiny ghouls and goblins to wickedly wonderful witches, and every smile was simply spook-tacular! 😊
