🌟 Please join us in celebrating our Star of The Week, Mr. Garner! 🌟

When Mr. Garner admitted to The Waters of New Castle at the beginning of September, he could only stand for 20 seconds following a long hospital stay. Determined to regain his independence, he worked closely with our incredible therapy team to build strength, coordination, and endurance.

Through a variety of equipment and personalized techniques, Mr. Garner made steady progress — and today, he’s proud to stand for long periods of time and safely return home to the community he loves. 💪

Mr. Garner shared his heartfelt thanks to the staff, especially Mark (PT), Heather (OT), Michelle (PT), Lindsey (OT), and Alfred (PT), for their tremendous impact on his rehabilitation journey.

Congratulations, Mr. Garner, on your amazing accomplishments — we are so proud of you! 👏

It’s and we would like to introduce Mark, our incredible Director of Rehab. Mark has been a dedicated PTA for 15 years, bringing skill and heart to every therapy session. 💪

This week we celebrated and Mark’s journey into this field is inspiring: after losing his job at Dana, he took some time in Mexico, where life led him in a new direction. While his own son was in therapy, Mark spent countless hours in the clinic—and with support through NAFTA, he was able to pursue his education and become the therapist he is today. 🌎✨

When he’s not helping our residents reach their goals, you’ll find Mark fishing, hunting for arrowheads, drawing, and enjoying time with his three boys. 🎣

Thank you, Mark, for your passion and dedication to helping others heal and thrive! 💙
