During last week’s winter storm, our Jameson team showed extraordinary dedication, teamwork, and heart. Despite dangerous road conditions and long hours, these individuals stepped up without hesitation to ensure our residents remained safe, cared for, and supported.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to:
💙 Dawn Musser – RN, onsite incident commander, for leading with strength and keeping both staff and resident morale high while working a double shift
💙 Kirk Gray and our entire Dietary Team — Anthony, Lexi, Latisha, Jayvin, and Josh — for coming in to support one another, assisting with meal service, and preparing meals for staff on-site
💙 Ricky Rager – for spending 12 hours navigating treacherous roads to transport staff, handling challenges with positivity and a smile
💙 Joann Hall – for working extended shifts, staying overnight, and providing steady support when it was needed most
💙 Kellie Yzaguirre – for driving over 30 miles in difficult conditions and staying overnight to ensure our residents received excellent care
💙 Lea Murphy and Ilsa Holder – for answering the call for help, stepping away from their regular roles, and providing hands-on care and meal support for our residents
💙 Michael Bruno – EVS, for transporting coworkers in his 4WD vehicle and maintaining a clean, safe environment
💙 Cheryl Book – EVS, for helping coworkers reach the facility and supporting environmental services
💙 Dave Soukovich and Michael Fisher – for tirelessly shoveling snow, keeping entrances accessible, and assisting with staff transportation
💙 Stephanie Magnifico – BOM, for personally picking up multiple staff members so care could continue uninterrupted
💙 Brandon Miller – CNA, for transporting coworkers even outside of his scheduled shifts
💙 Jen Black – RN, for digging out her vehicle and making it to work despite being snowed in
💙 Kate Brannon – for coordinating transportation for activity staff and bringing joy and engagement to our residents during a challenging time

Every day, our Activities Professionals bring joy, purpose, and meaningful connection to the lives of our residents. At Jameson Nursing & Rehab, we’re happy to shine a special light on Kate Brannon!

Kate shares that her favorite part of her role is making residents happy and giving them meaningful moments to look forward to each day. Her compassion and positive energy help create experiences that bring smiles and brighten daily life for the residents she serves. 💛

Outside of work, Kate enjoys spending time with family and friends. In the photo, she’s pictured with her golden retriever, Mya, who brings just as many smiles as Kate does! 🐾

Today, we celebrate not just Kate, but the entire Activities team at Jameson Nursing & Rehab! Thank you for your heart, dedication, and the joy you bring to our residents every day.
