Goood morning Wellness Warriors!

I just wanted to share what I made for dinner the other nite for my daughter and me.

Super simple organic sweet potato mash, sautéed broccolini and baked wild-caught sockeye salmon with a local honey-mustard glaze.

This was a low-histamine, nutrient packed, DELICIOUS kid-approved meal. For any one suffering from chronic migraines, headaches, IBS/IBD, allergies/asthma, eczema/skin issues, RA, hives or chronic interstitial cystitis then you may want to consider a low histamine diet. It’s a powerful way to control for chronic inflammation!

Pro tip for fish: drizzle with olive oil on top, and a pat of butter in the pan and bake @ 425degrees F for 10mins. PERFECT every time. And don’t forget to season!

FISH is a great source of omega 3’s and iodine which we all need!

If you want to learn more about how to reduce chronic inflammation, feel more energized and reach optimal health then give our office a call - we are ready to help YOU achieve your health goals!

If you suffer from 1 or more of the following inflammatory conditions consider checking out this cook boo to lower your production of histamines.

Histamines are chemicals that are released by the body when the immune system is defending against hypo potential allergen or invader.

Histamines are an important part of a healthy immune response but too many histamines, however, can lead to a flareup of headaches, allergies, hives, and other inflammatory responses.

Thai cookbook (delicious recipes btw) can help lower your histamine load. So if you suffer from allergies, asthma, headaches/migraines, mast cell activation, hives, interstitial cystitis, IBS/IBD or rheumatoid arthritis check out this book!

Goood Evening Wellness Tribe!

One of my favorite wintertime foods are beets. Not only are root vegetables seasonal and appropriate for this time of year but they also help decrease inflammation, reduce blood pressure and have loads of nitric oxide that dilate blood vessels and improve athletic performance. A true super food!

I mixed these with some rice vinegar and dill - perfect as a side.

If you’d like more information on how we can help you on your health journey call our office - we would love to hear your story.
