"Bebe" one of our personal faves, loves coming in for her personalized laser therapy sessions. Pet laser therapy uses low-level laser light to stimulate blood circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote cellular regeneration. This doctor-prescribed, technician-driven therapy is painless and helps improve healing in both acute and chronic conditions. Our clinic highlight of the week is Brookeside Veterinary Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI!

This four-doctor hospital for dogs and cats, now private and led by owner Cynthia Barker, champions empathetic care that's built on trust. They provide thoughtful, personalized veterinary care in a supportive environment where pets, people, and communication come first.

They are proud to offer personalized, tiered care options, making it easy for pet parents to choose what best fits their needs without compromising quality.

They recently added a Companion CTX-IQ therapy laser, an advanced portable platform that combines intuitive software with premium dosing and implementation support programs.

This lucky feline was among the first patients to try it out during the recent installation. Special thanks to Companion team member Wesley for the photos.

And we’re home! Thankyou again to Andy and the team at Greenside Regenerative Therapies & Rehabilitation for looking after Vinnie today and also for the great team training.

Will fill you all in within the next few days on what we discovered when Vinnie had his latest set of diagnostics.

For now I have a very smelly (if you know you know post stem cell injection 🤢) but happy sleepy pup.

Treating patients with platelet-rich plasma can lead to great results after just one use.

5-year-old Bella had a grade 1/5 right thoracic limb lameness upon examination: The right shoulder showed decreased extension with pain on abduction, the right elbow had decreased flexion with a bony end feel and mild pain, and the left elbow had decreased flexion with no pain.

Watch what happened after she was injected with PRP using the Companion Regenerative Therapy system.

Our clinic highlight of the week (and first of 2026!) is Susquehanna Trail Animal Hospital in Watsontown, PA!

Founded in 1991, STAH is led by Dr. Tristan Wilhelm (who purchased it from the original owner) and Dr. Lori Mildrew. The two vets, along with their amazing staff, are devoted to providing compassionate care with longer appointment times to ensure individualized high-quality treatment for every patient and thorough communication with every pet owner.

This focus on high-quality care has created great relationships, trust, and partnerships with the community and area pet owners.

They recently added not one, but two amazing modalities, too: A Companion CTS DUO therapy laser and a PRP processing system.

The laser allows them to non-surgically treat 8 of the top 10 reasons dogs and cats visit the vet, while the PRP system (which is validated for both dogs and cats) provides drug-free, long-lasting healing for orthopedic and soft tissue injuries.

Meet Sadie Sue, a 10-year-old hound mix who experienced remarkable healing with laser therapy post-op after her caudal maxillectomy for squamous cell carcinoma.

Sadie received the laser treatment once daily immediately after surgery- these before and after pictures were taken just moments apart each day.

The result? Dr. Becky Murray said that laser led to a "demonstrable difference in swelling to the lip and face area (and) made my assistant a believer!"
