Before Imbolc was aesthetic, and before Groundhog Day became a televised guessing game, humans did this wild thing called respect the seasons.

Imbolc marks the moment winter starts losing its grip — the light creeps back in, the earth stirs, and nature whispers, “Relax, I’m not done with you yet.”
Ancient people didn’t ask calendars or weather apps.

They watched animals.

If a burrower emerged?

Spring was warming up backstage.

If not?

Winter said, “I’m still speaking.”

Celtic lands watched serpents and badgers.
German folklore watched hedgehogs.
Then German settlers came to America, looked around, shrugged, and said, “Close enough,” and crowned the groundhog.

Different animals.

My name is Lindsay and I offer Reiki for those on a healing journey—whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, grieving, seeking balance, or simply needing space to breathe and be held energetically.

Distance Reiki
Animal Reiki
Guided Meditations

I also hold space for those navigating deep loss. I am experienced in grief work, including the loss of a child.

My own son passed away at 21 months in 2008, and that experience shaped the way I offer compassion, presence, and understanding in my healing work.
