As we enter the sacred pause of the Winter Solstice at 10:03 a.m. EST, I invite you to pause with me.

Take a moment to honor where you’ve been, the strength you’ve built, and the lessons the last season has offered.
Gently clear what no longer serves your highest good, creating space for new light, new growth, and a new expression of yourself.

On December 18th, I paused to name what I’m grateful for.

The sunrise — and the breath I can breathe while watching the light rise.
Flowing water.
The luminous glow of sunset.

Coffee shops and quiet moments.
Surprising a friend just to say hi.
Being able to offer treatments.
Witnessing a child lose their first tooth.
Holding space — safely, intentionally — during spiritual practice.

There is so much to be grateful for when we slow down enough to notice.
What’s on your list? 🤍

I walk this land and feel the imprints of energies that veil the true essence of Mother Nature.
I see them on the rocks, the trees, the bridges.

I sit beneath my favorite place — falling water — and offer blessings.
I listen. I harmonize.

I allow the pure energy of the healing waters to move through me,
to soften triggers within my own system,
so that I may come back into balance —
and in doing so, offer harmony back to the land.

May this find you well.
May this bring you peace.

Today’s Practice: Daily Observation

Tingshas are a beautiful way to clear and open energy.
I love beginning and ending my day with them, or using them to open a meditation practice.

Today, I’m using the sound of tingshas to open a shared container for us all — a space of connection and awareness.

What are you grateful for today?
Big or small. Quiet or bright.

I invite you to observe your day through this lens.

Be gentle with yourself.

If you’re noticing shifts in your mood, your energy, or your pain, it may be connected to the season. As Mother Nature moves toward hibernation, so do our bodies. Our rhythms slow. Our pulse draws inward.

With less sunlight, our biology receives less energetic support. I’ve been noticing this collectively in the people I see — we’re all feeling it in our own way.

This time of year can feel especially challenging. Our bodies are asking to slow down, while the pressures of life continue to build. That tension is real.

As the winter solstice approaches, we’re moving through the darkest night — and the light will return. Until then, may you give yourself space. May you find moments of pause and care.

I’m in this with you. I feel the agitation too, and I know how important gentle communication is right now. I’ll be sharing ways to support yourself as we shift into this new season.
