Every day is a great day to be at New Castle Nursing and Rehab, but yesterday was an extra sweet one. Our residents had a blast making candy bouquets — some for themselves and then a few extra for a couple of staff members they chose who they feel truly go above and beyond. Along with the bouquets, they included heartfelt cards to share just how much those extra efforts mean to them.

With February being the month of love, it was the perfect reminder that appreciation and kindness go both ways — and we’re definitely feeling the love from both sides. 💕

A big thank you to Cece, Della, and Darcia for always showing up and showing out for our residents. Your dedication and compassion never go unnoticed! 💗

We had a great time today making heart-shaped pizzas with our residents 🍕❤️
Everyone enjoyed getting hands-on, picking out their favorite toppings, and making just a little bit of a mess along the way. Lots of laughs, lots of pizza, and lots of fun shared together!

Activities like this are a fun way to bring everyone together and make the day a little extra special.

We were all shook up with excitement welcoming “Elvis” to New Castle Nursing & Rehab! 🎶🕺 From the moment he arrived, the building was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of toe-tapping fun. Our residents loved singing along, reminiscing, and soaking in the joy his performance brought.

A huge thank you to Second Wind Dreams for funding this special event and helping make such a memorable, joy-filled day possible for our residents. Experiences like this truly mean the world to them, and we are so grateful for your continued support.
