We are so thankful for the Barclays Bank US volunteers who celebrated Kindness Week by creating more than 50 Sensory Kits for children in our Children’s Therapy program statewide!

In partnership with Breeze Airways and Jersey Cares, each kit includes a weighted lap band, rain sticks, a tactile sensory ball, bubbles, and Play-Doh—simple tools that make a big difference for children who benefit from sensory support.

Thank you to everyone who put time, heart, and creativity into these kits. Your kindness helps children learn, grow, and shine!

The Easterseals team was out in force at Delaware’s state budget hearings, urging strong funding for vital home & community-based services—like adult day programs, personal attendant care, and dementia/Alzheimer’s support.

Ken, our President/CEO, and team members Stacy and Eddie also highlighted the life-changing work of Direct Support Professionals who help thousands of Delawareans with disabilities live independently in their communities.

Easterseals and our partners are proud to serve—now let’s make sure these essential services are fully funded!

Many thanks to Sen. Marie Pinkney for visiting our New Castle site to discuss the impact of community-based services for seniors and people with disabilities.

The Senator spent time speaking with our direct support professionals and connecting with many of the people we serve, gaining firsthand insight into both the rewards and challenges of this work.

Despite the immense value these services provide, they are currently significantly underfunded, which puts pressure on our dedicated team. We’re grateful for the Senator’s attention to these issues and her support to ensure these essential services thrive.

Camp Fairlee’s last Respite Weekend was a culinary delight! 🎃🍪

Campers rolled up their sleeves in the kitchen to make (and enjoy!) delicious pumpkin cookies while spending time together in a fun, inclusive environment.

These weekends give caregivers a well-deserved break and provide campers with new experiences, friendships, and independence — all part of the magic that makes Camp Fairlee so special.
