The Master Givers Group, which includes our Nurse Liaison Julie and members from the senior-serving continuum of care throughout the region, held its regular meeting on Tuesday.

During the meeting, they collected arts and crafts donations for Easterseals Delaware and Maryland's Eastern Shore. A great example of local organizations supporting one another and spreading a little extra creativity and joy through the community!

To celebrate EMS Week and show some love to our hometown heroes, Meadowwood rolled up with lunch for the crew at the Wilmington Manor Fire Department.

Our CEO, Angelo, and CNO, Sam, grabbed a photo with the team that is definitely getting framed, while Julie and Erin scored the real VIP experience with a ride in the fire truck.

Great food, great company, and a great reminder of how lucky we are to have these everyday heroes looking out for our community.

When was the last time you checked in on your mental health?

This Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to remind you that it’s okay to slow down, ask for support, and prioritize how you’re feeling. Mental healthcare looks different for everyone, and even small steps—like reaching out to someone you trust—can make a meaningful difference. You’re not alone, and help is always available.
