🌟 October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)! 🌟
At Jawonio, we are proud to support and empower individuals with disabilities through meaningful employment opportunities. For over 30 years, our Community Employment Services team have helped place more than 6,000 people in jobs, building skills, confidence, and independence along the way in both Rockland and Westchester Counties.

This month, we celebrate the incredible contributions of people with disabilities in the workforce and reaffirm our commitment to inclusive employment for all.

⚾ If it’s September, Jawonio baseball season is ON! Touching Bases** is back for a game at Clover Stadium, home of the New York Boulders Baseball. It takes a village for sure and we want to acknowledge and thank: Bob Baird, Founder of Touching Bases Of Rockland; Jawonio Coach Christine Curley; our amazing Jawonio all-star team; our residential(CLS) staff for providing transportation and cheerleading; the St. Thomas Aquinas College boys baseball team for volunteering; family members for your ongoing support of our fun and hard work; and our sister agencies throughout the community for making this a home run for all!

Each honoree brings their passion, enthusiasm and their own story to share why so much good happens here.
