Which is your favourite?
Here’s what 100 calories actually looked like in the form of nuts. Did you know that only FOUR walnuts are 100 calories?
I eat like 30 of those at a time! 😅🙊 That being said, calories are DEFINITELY not the enemy. Nuts are FULL OF nutritional benefits!! The important thing to remember here is PORTION control, not minimizing calories. Anyways, anyone else a hardcore nut addict? :)

You need to stop 🛑 trying to stick to a “perfect” diet!

👋🏼 Meet my client Mary: She came to me hyper-focused on eating “clean”. 🥗 Avoiding most carbs, added sugar, processed foods, alcohol 🍷, all the “bad” stuff.

It was stressful and made meal planning and prep super overwhelming. 😓 But she stuck to it because she felt like it worked. That is… Until it didn’t.

Until she went out to eat or her family brought home some sweets. 🍫 Then the wheels fell off and she was sent spiraling, eating ALL the food. It left her feeling shameful, frustrated, and stuck with her weight loss goals. 💔

We began working together and immediately got back to the basics. 🙌🏼Challenging her beliefs around “good” and “bad” foods, including more fun 🎉 foods in her diet on a regular basis, while keeping her in a calorie deficit!

You see, it’s ALL about balance. 🙏🏼 It’s the extremes that get you into trouble. All whole foods = unsustainable, restrictive. 😣 All fun foods = unbalanced, low nutrients, often excessive calories. 🍕

⭐️ Approximately* 80% nutritious whole foods + 20% fun foods is the ratio to aim for!

75g farfalle pasta (weight uncooked)
3 slices of prime cuts crumbled ham
50g avocado
50g baby plum tomatoes
50g cucumber
10g hellmans real mayo

I really like the macros in this one because it’s got a good amount of each and 10g of the fat is the healthy kind 🥑

Fiber, fluids, and physical activity are the big players in most constipation. Sometimes smoothies or some prunes will take care of it. If your child’s constipation is chronic, however, they may need more than a few diet changes to resolve the constipation. Working with your child’s healthcare provider on that can be a good idea. ⁠



Constipation smoothie recipe:⁠

One of the biggest mistakes i see women make is relying on too many “diet foods” and not enough REAL FOODS.

📣 Processed foods are not “bad” but eating too many processed foods can mean your not getting enough of the real, natural foods, that your body and gut need to be healthy
most processed foods that we eat are higher in calories and are easy to overeat, because they are manufactured to make our taste buds enjoy them BUT lack the fiber AND protein to keep you full

📣 when you start prioritizing more real foods like in this meal plan above, your diet quality will improve and therefore improving your metabolic rate and weight loss goals

📣 And of course every woman REQUIRES a different amount of calories based on their goals and current body comp, so feel free to tweak this plan!
