Dr. Gabrielle Francis, The Herban Alchemist,is a New York City-based Naturopathic Doctor, Chiropractor, Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist with over 35 years of practice experience. She’s the founder of the multi-disciplinary practice, The Herban Alchemist, and author of The Rockstar Remedy(HarperCollins, 2015),a Rock ‘n’ Roll Doctor’s prescription for living a longhealthy life. Gabrielle also runs Backstage Alternative, her Travelling Medicine Show, which provides natural medicine to rock bands and musicians on tour. Gabrielle and her husband, Ahmed own Moroccan Elixir, a natural beauty line that works with Argan oil Women’s Co-Operatives in Morocco to produce luxury skin care.

Gabrielle, known by many as Dr. G, received her formal medical training at National College of Chiropractic and at Bastyr University. She also has extensive training in Alternative Cancer Therapies, Environmental Medicine, Functional Medicine, Mind-Body medicine, and Bio-Identical Hormone therapies.

Following 17 years of medical education, Dr. G embarked on many years of world travel. She combined her love of exploration and culture with a quest for knowledge of medicine from indigenous cultures. Her adventures continue to this day as each trip combines the study of how healing, music, food, medicine and spirituality interface with the local culture and people. Dr. G approaches each adventure with an open mind, insatiable curiosity, and sincere love for people. This attitude and her extensive knowledge provide her a unique access to the wisdom and healers of these mysterious and exotic cultures.
