INGREDIENTS🥘
1 1/2 cups of water
- 1 teaspoon of curry
- Salt to taste
- Mix of ground peppers to taste
- 8 tablespoons of soybean oil
- 4 cups of wheat flour (preferably white)
- Breadcrumbs for breading
Filling
- 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 2 diced garlic cloves
- 1/2 diced onion
- 4 cups of textured hydrated soybean protein tea
- Salt and mix of ground pepper
- Chopped parsley to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION💚
1. In a large, deep pan, add the water, curry, salt and pepper mix.
2. Stir well until the curry dissolves.
3. Add the oil, place over high heat and bring to a boil.
4. Lower the heat and, all at once, add the wheat flour and stir vigorously until a homogeneous dough forms, which comes away from the bottom of the pan.
5. Transfer the still warm dough to a surface and knead until smooth.
6. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest.
7. In another pan, heat the oil, brown the garlic and onion, add the soy and season with salt and pepper mix.
8. Stir from time to time, until the soybeans turn golden, but do not let them burn.
9. Turn off the heat, sprinkle parsley and mix well.
10. Let the mixture cool.
11. Knead and roll out the dough, cut into circles and fill them.
12. Close them into a thigh shape.
13. Pass them in water and then in breadcrumbs.
14. In a deep pan, heat enough oil to cover the cookers and fry them.
15. When they are golden, remove them from the pan and let them drain on absorbent paper.
