At In-Home LCSW, we spend a lot of time speaking to kids, teens and even adults about seeking out friendships and relationships that make us feel good. Instead of wondering if people like you-start exploring if this is even someone that brings positivity and happiness to your life. Do you really LIKE them or just want their approval? Do they make you feel happy, seen, valued and understood? Can you be yourself around them? Do they bring out the best or worst version of you? We are in control of who we spend our time with and who gains access to our energy. Know your worth and value, people need to impress YOU to be in your life, not the other way around!
