This lovely mother of three was bothered by the separation of her abdominal muscles (diastasis recti) and excess fat & skin in her abdominal area. She lost 50lbs of weight to address her visceral fat (internal fat), however the extra fat and skin in her abdominal area was still present. She also suffered from a very large fibroid uterus that resulted in bleeding and chronic anemia and fatigue.

She underwent liposuction with tummy tuck with repair of her muscles (abdominoplasty with re**us plication) at the same time as her hysterectomy (removal of uterus) performed by Gynecology using the same incision.

She is 6 months out from surgery and she couldn’t be happier. Her contour is flat, without extra skin and her abdominal muscles are reconstructed allowing her to work out more effectively. ✨

Happy 1st of July! 🩺 For those who aren’t in the medical field, July 1 marks the start of the new academic year for graduating medical students becoming newly minted doctors. It signifies the first day of residency and the rest of their careers.

To every new resident putting on that long white coat for the first time - you’ve earned this. 💪 Welcome to a world that will test your limits, shape your soul and remind you daily of the privilege it is to take care of others.

This photo was taken during my training. What have I learned since then? Many things, but here’s a few:
-be kind to nurses. Always.
-you’ll never know everything, but you must care about everything
-excellence is built in quiet moments no one sees
-grace under pressure is a muscle. Flex it often
-attention to detail is crucial
-trust, but verify

This wonderful patient experienced significant neck and back pain from her heavy, pendulous breasts. She lost over 40 lbs from diet and exercise and still suffered from severe pain from her dense breasts. After breast reduction surgery, her symptoms improved and she loves how her breasts look. She is 3 months out from surgery and she is over the moon!

This wonderful patient lost some weight and noticed excess skin and residual fat in her arms. She wanted an arm lift but did not want a long scar along the entire upper arm. I performed liposuction of both of her arms and used only a short scar along her armpit. This short scar brachioplasty procedure is an excellent option for patients who do not have too much excess skin in the upper arms and only needs a mild improvement without having a long scar. The scar is very well hidden and fades so well. This patient is 10 months out from her surgery and her scar is barely noticeable. She is thrilled!

This beautiful patient had breast implants placed years ago. Over the years, she noticed her breast tissue gradually sagging over her implants. She wanted a very subtle but noticeable lift. I performed a donut breast lift (peri-ar**lar mastopexy) under local anesthesia. Without having to add any additional scars, I was able to use the same incision from her previous surgery. The scar is only around her ar**la and barely noticeable. This procedure is great for any patients who need only a minor lift. A little lift goes a long way!

This amazing patient underwent weight loss with diet and exercise but could not get rid of the extra skin and dense breast tissue. I performed gynecomastia surgery to contour the chest to make it flat and give back the patient's confidence.
He is 3 months out from surgery and loves the results!
The scarring will continue to fade and will become more hidden over time.
