We are incredibly honored and grateful to the Rockland County Teachers’ Association for their generosity and continued support 💙🎳

Their 10th Annual Bowling Spectacular was an amazing display of community, unity, and compassion—bringing together hundreds of educators from across the Hudson Valley, all while raising over $10,000 to support the mission of United Hospice.

Because of partners like RCTA, we are able to continue providing comfort, dignity, and support to individuals and families facing serious illness, as well as those navigating grief and loss.

It truly takes a community—and we are so thankful to be part of one that shows up with such heart.

Thank you again to everyone who participated, supported, and made this event so meaningful.

New York is currently finalizing the state budget, and lawmakers are considering several measures that would meaningfully impact hospice in our state.

United Hospice President and CEO Cara Pace wrote about what exactly New York can do to provide crucial support to the hospice industry and to New York's rapidly aging population.

New York State must do more to support nonprofit hospices. These mission-driven organizations provide compassionate, dignified end-of-life care while reinvesting in patient services, families, and communities - but rising costs, workforce shortages, and outdated reimbursement rates are putting them at risk. Without stronger state support, we will continue to rank last in hospice utilization and risk not being able to provide critical care for some of our most vulnerable New Yorkers. Investing in nonprofit hospices isn’t just good policy - it’s a commitment to humanity, dignity, and care when time matters most.
