If you have not heard yet, NCRX will sadly be closing our doors. Our last day is 10/31.
Jody will be going to Ted’s Plaza Pharmacy in Weirton. The phone number is 304-723-2656. We also have a store in Chester, Citizens Drug Store, 304-387-2731. Jody will have the computer in Weirton and will be able to access your refills when you are ready to transfer to the store of your choice. We understand if you wish to remain local but you are more than welcome to follow us. We will try to deliver to the New Cumberland area a couple days a week.

I am so sorry that this post is so long but I have so many things I want to say.
It is with great sadness that I post this. I was informed this past Thursday that our New Cumberland Prescription Center will be closing for good. Our last day open will be 10/31. November would be 31 years for me serving the New Cumberland community. I have made so many memories over the years. I was not even married when I started working there. I am so appreciative of all the technicians that made my job a whole lot easier from beginning to end. I have learned so many things from them including life lessons. They were there for me in happy times as well as the sad times. I feel like I grew up with the drugstore as well as my children and now my grandchildren have even been there. One of the memories my oldest daughter, Mikayla, just told me about was when she used to come in (on occasion, I didn't have a babysitter) and we would let her push the cart around the store with these battery operated king fu pandas that sang and danced and they would all be going off at the same time. We also used to let them count mini M&Ms on the prescription counting trays and put them in bottles. They thought they were something! Then my daughter Paulayna, which most of you know, began working as a technician. I guess the M&M counting struck up an interest! When we needed to make a vaccination room, my son Michael was there to do the electrical work and my husband worked on the construction. My whole family has a connection to the store in some way. I have so many loyal customers that I don't even know where to begin. You have all been so special to me and I will miss you so much. We have shared many happy times and tears along the way. Sometimes they were your problems and sometimes they were my problems, but it didn't matter because we were there for each other. I consider all of you part of our New Cumberland RX Center family and I hope that I made you feel that way. I might not be in New Cumberland after the 31st, but you are all in my heart forever. I am not saying goodbye, I am saying see you later!
