It’s been quite awhile since I’ve posted here on FB. Just wanting to provide a quick overview of what I do at ARC Fitness.
I’m both a personal trainer and Wellness coach.
As a trainer, my focus is on bringing clients to their fitness and/or weight loss goals. Each workout incorporates strength training for all muscle groups, with an emphasis on functional movement, core and balance. Most of my clients are over 50 years, with about a 50/50 balance of males/females. Sessions are either 30 minutes or a full hour and can be any combination of cardio and strength training.
As a Wellness Coach, I focus on improving overall quality of life and many aspects of health, especially those caused by metabolic conditions.
I help my clients make lifestyle changes and help them advocate for better healthcare with their physicians. Many clients, especially women, are dismissed or gas lit by their doctors. This does nothing to improve the quality of their lives or their overall health.
I review lab results and help my clients understand how to optimize their labs via better nutrition, exercise and sometimes, supplements. I also recommend additional lab testing to determine factors that can be contributing to symptoms and to their resistant metabolic weight loss or other health-related conditions. Most of these factors lie in hormonal imbalances and deficiencies. I can help optimize hormone levels. I draft reports that help clients advocate for support from their physicians, as most doctors know little to nothing about hormones, including thyroid.
