New Glarus Pharmacy, formerly named Roberts Drug Store, has been one of the cornerstones of the New Glarus business community for over 60 years. Those 60 years have produced many changes in the New Glarus business mix as well as many changes in the medical field including pharmacy. However, one thing remained constant through those 60 years—the commitment of New Glarus Pharmacy to the health and well being of its customers. Pharmacy staff members are there for you whenever you need them, in any emergency you can reach them–24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In addition to the pharmacy’s commitment to you, commitments, both personal and monetary, have been made to the Village of New Glarus. Owners and employees have served on the Chamber of Commerce, The Bank of New Glarus board of directors, volunteer committees of the New Glarus Village Board, school board, every festival board and all clubs and originations in the community. New Glarus Pharmacy has also given monetary contributions to the Village of New Glarus and its organizations: high school scholarships worth over $12,000, donations to the EMS, Fire Department, Chamber of Commerce, festivals and all organizations in the community large and small.

New Glarus Hometown Pharmacy

New Glarus Hometown Pharmacy was started in the 1940's by Jim Roberts, a WWII US Naval Veteran. It was named Robert's Drugstore. After Jim retired, his son Arthur "Jack" took over. He ran an very successful pharmacy and European imports business for many years. Prior to Jack's retirement, he partnered with Hometown pharmacy. New Glarus Pharmacy was one of the first store to partner with Hometown. We have provided pharmacy services to the local area for generations and still are today. More recently, we are providing additional services like immunization, comprehensive medication reviews, medication synchronization, med-boxes and pro-active health. Come see how we can help you.

Hello, I'm Kent. I graduated cm laude from Wayland Academy (a private college preparatory school) in Beaver Dam, WI. My Bachelor in Science degree was earned at UW Madison. Following my undergrad studies, I attended UW Madison Pharmacy School. After graduation, I interned in Randolph, WI for 1 year then passed the NAPLEX and State Board exams to obtain my license to practice Pharmacy. I have practiced in a variety of pharmacy settings including retail, hospital and long-term care. My passion to provide excellent healthcare and my patients motivated me to become immunization certified & board certified in Pharmacotherapy and geriatrics. It is an honor for me to be entrusted with patients to provide their pharmacy needs.
