I haven't posted on here in a while, so I thought I would give an update. I finished up a client project, I've finished 3 classes for my genealogy certification, and now I'm just updating some notes for my own research in between projects before we leave for our 2 week vacation. 😁

Below is Sir Francis Moore. He was born in 1558 in Berkshire, England. He died November 20, 1621. His house, Fawley Manor, is pictured as well and is still standing today. One of the bedrooms still has his 3 daughters' names scratched into the wall. Francis is my 14x great grandpa!!! His ancestry is well documented because he served in Parliament! Unfortunately Francis was known to be very back and forth with his political views (often siding with the popular vote). He was also known as the man who overheard the Gunpowder Treason and did not report or act on it. Francis is buried in the family vault beneath Fawley Old Church in Fawley, Berkshire, England (the church was torn down in 1866 and replaced with a new building).

While doing some newspaper research completely unrelated to this article, I came across this gem. This article was published on October 28, 1910 in the Evansville Press. The article interviews Ichisuke Ishikawa, a Japanese circus acrobat, about the events that happened when the Norris and Rowe Circus visited Evansville, IN in 1910. Click on the photo for the full picture of the article.
