Whitetail Lavender Farms, LLC took the day off to take our son off to college!!

As Fr Hess read at Mass today, from Luke 12:34, For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.

My heart was left in KC today.

So as we leave a little farm life and Whitetail Lavender Farms products in KC, we wish the best time to our baby, Atticus!! We love you!!

Rockhurst University

August has been a whirlwind.

Rae took an interim position at Ulta as the Experience Manager, and it's going wonderfully. Boo got a call for an Operator's job in Colombia that could potentially last a year, and Bug leaves Friday for Rockhurst... I am as we pack his stuff in the living room. Of course, Mom added some lotions, soaps, and balms to remind him of home to his packing.

and ACL surgery is scheduled for 9/10... wish this momma luck... so many changes going on at once.

I'm all about candles! I love making my house smell "per the season!"

Wax warmers are so fun, too, because you can change them out daily or weekly.

So we are formulating a Tallow Beeswax Candle. Curing and Testing MUST follow before we can move forward. But with cooler weather, I figured tonight I'd start the attempt.

So here is the work in progress!!

Cure time. 2 weeks
Burn tests. Multiple hours at a time.
