Grief...a heavy emotion, felt deep in the lungs. An emotion we push down ("be strong, don't cry) or talk ourselves out of ("look at all we have, we SHOULD be happy and grateful"). But by denying our grief it doesn't just go away. As with all energy it is merely transformed.
How? By making us sick (respiratory illness, fatigue, digestive issues, pain, etc) or by coming out as ANGER. So often the root of our anger is unexpressed grief. The next time you find yourself so angry ask yourself, what hurt are you not acknowledging? Sit with it, feel it. When you can express your grief and release your pain (i.e. cry), so often your anger dissolves.
