In just the past two days, FHCHC has distributed almost 300 food vouchers to patients affected by the SNAP benefit shutdown. We continue to be a resource for our patients.

BIG NEWS!

🍎FHCHC will offer food vouchers redeemable at local grocery stores starting Monday, Nov. 3, for FHCHC patients affected by the SNAP benefit shutdown.

🗓 When: Monday–Friday, starting at 8 AM (line starts at 7am)
📍 Where: 374 Grand Ave, New Haven
🎟 Details:
• 100 vouchers distributed daily
• Bring your EBT card & photo ID
• One voucher per household per week

Last week, our incredible Shoreline nursing team showed their appreciation for the Medical Assistants during MA Appreciation Week with t-shirts and a surprise potluck luncheon! The smiles said it all 😊 Thank you to our dedicated nursing and MA teams for all that you do!

This past Saturday, we hosted our very first Community Health Fiesta! Nearly 100 neighbors, young and old, joined us for free flu shots, lively music from BOMBA Radio, Safe Trick-or-Treat fun, face painting, and delicious food demonstrations. A huge thank-you to our wonderful community members and partner organizations who made the day such a success!
