Our hearts are so full 💛

Happy Black Maternal Health Week! Although it is celebrated worldwide for a week, we support and celebrate Black mamas every single day of the year so connect with us to do the same. 🤰🏽🤎

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate, move, and show up for Black mamas and their families at our 3rd Annual Black Maternal Health Walk. What a beautiful day of joy, connection, and community. 💛

We want to give deep gratitude to our incredible team and village:
✨ Our interns Keisha and Rikee for holding it down behind the scenes
✨ Our volunteers for creating such a welcoming and beautiful space
✨ Our stretch leader for preparing our bodies to move with intention
✨ Tarena for getting us up and celebrating through line dancing
✨Bri for Djing & watching the babies!
✨ Doula Cameron for bringing out the tribe and grounding us with breathwork
✨ The Southern Connecticut State University Public Health Department for opening its doors to us
✨ Our board member, Dr. Evans, for being our backbone
✨ Brittany, we missed you while you were out doing your midwifery thing and can’t wait to have you back
Special love to the dads who showed up to celebrate the mamas. We need more of that love 💛
To the kids for bringing the joy and the bubbles 🫧

DONA Birth & Postpartum Doula Training Announcement

We are hosting more DONA Birth & Postpartum Doula Trainings! 🌿✨

Based on participant availability, the trainings will begin as early as this month, with all sessions completed by August. This experience is designed to equip aspiring and current doulas with the knowledge, skills, and community support needed to serve families with confidence, compassion, and cultural awareness.

Beyond training, participants will receive ongoing collective support, including guidance through the state certification process, mentorship, and connection to a growing village of birth workers.
