The Towers was honored to participate in the Jewish Foundation of Greater New Haven's Create a Jewish Legacy Celebration this Sunday. The event featured Dr. Jack Werthheimer, professor of American Jewish History speaking on his book on philanthropy.

The Towers appreciates incentive grants from the Jewish Foundation and Harold Grinspoon Foundation. With support from the Jewish Foundation, The Towers has grown its endowments tremendously. Thank you for helping us plant the seeds for our future growth!

Through our growing partnership with Quinnipiac University we were excited to lead a class for social work students and present our innovative Proactive Partner Model of care. Team members Karisma Quintas and Jesse Wescott conducted a remote session and a live session on campus. Thanks to professors Maya Doyle and Katherine Sallaku for the opportunity to share our vision and work.

What a fun day of sweet treats! Thanks to two very generous donors, everyone at The Towers received a little bit of love in a package today! We are smiles all around and grateful to our supporters! Thank you as well to our volunteers who pitched in to make today wonderful.

The Towers was honored to participate in Congregation B'nai Jacob's Annual Gospel Shabbat program this past Friday. Along with members of the African American Historical Society, the Jewish Historical Society, Shoreline Soul and Valley Soul, this special community service celebrating the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., featured Gospel music under the direction of professional singer and choir director Angela Clemmons. It was a wonderful and meaningful evening!

The LeadingAge Leadership Academy enjoyed a visit to our Tower One rooftop today to think about creating a vision for their leadership. Thinking about your organization from the “balcony” takes on lots of meaning when that balcony is 21 floors above the ground! It was a wonderful view!

The LeadingAge Connecticut Leadership Academy is a regionally based leadership program that fosters and encourages leadership development within the LeadingAge Connecticut, LeadingAge New Jersey & Delaware and LeadingAge Rhode Island member organizations. The Towers at Tower Lane has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to identify and qualify development partners to collaborate on the redevelopment of surplus property currently owned by The Towers and often referred to as “Tower Three”. This Request for Qualifications (the “RFQ”) is available on or after Wednesday January 7, 2026. The Towers contact for this RFQ is Liz Torres - liztorres@housingsmarts.com. All inquiries, correspondence, and submittals with respect to this RFQ must be sent to Liz Torres in writing. All RFQ responses (“Qualifications”) are due on February 2 by 5:00pm.
