The Towers hosted New Haven Police Chief Zannelli and District Managers Sanders and Melendez, as well as several other police officers for a program called "Coffee with a Cop". The program allowed local officers and police leaders to field questions and comments from our residents, followed up with a mingling session over a cup of coffee. The event was well attended, and we all learned a lot from these amazing first responders.

Special thanks to our Quinnipiac University students who ran Carfit for our residents at The Towers. Through this program, students complete a 12-pt checklist to ensure that car features are adjusted properly (seat height, depth, mirrors, steering wheel, etc..) and that older adults know to use safety features. A shout out to Professor Martha Sanders, who was the driving force behind this project at The Towers.
