Dear Valued Patients,

I’m thrilled to announce that I’m back seeing patients IN PERSON...at Fairfield Family Health! My specialties include digestive disorders, skin and hair conditions, allergy treatments, and women’s health.

Over the past four years, many of you have asked when I would return to in-person visits. I personally love telemedicine, but I have heard some of you loud and clear 🗣️ and wanted to meet your needs! For those of you who desire it, I will still provide telemedicine appointments as usual through Health. 👩🏾‍💻

Truth be told, I was waiting for the right opportunity and environment. Fairfield Family Health is in a beautiful modern office space located in the heart of Fairfield, Connecticut (just over an hour from NYC). Moreover, I am EXCITED to be working with a supportive staff and brillant integrative team at , (including my friend and owner .physician Dr. Jaquel Patterson) to offer a wider range of services than ever before!

It was so inspiring to meet some of our Equity Match Grant recipients Leaps & Bones, Precision cuts of Middlebury, Family Eyecare of Orange & Dr. Jennifer Pierre during our Road Show stops yesterday. It’s GO TIME! 😀 It’s official - I am excited to announce that I am joining the accelerator!

This week I will head to the GS headquarters for in-person learning that will continue for 10 weeks. I look forward to receiving the resources and support to catapult my business dreams to reality. Entrepreneurship is hard work 😮‍💨but I feel privileged to take my ideas, education and vision and channel it into . 🙏🏾

Thank you Collaboration of Minority Women Professionals for inviting me to speak to your members for National Minority Health Month. I presented on fibroids, due to its impact on all women, but particularly Black women. With fibroids affecting 70% of women and 80% of Black women, it should not be a source of shame.

My goal is sharing information about natural and minimally invasive surgical techniques so women can be informed and feel supported. I have too many patients who were told to “watch and wait” only to find out their fibroids had grown too large and numerous and the only option was a hysterectomy.

Thank you to the ladies who attended for trusting me to share your personal experiences with fibroids and those who learned some new things today. 🤓

“What are you doing for others?” ✨💫🌟

For the new year and my birthday 🥳 I gifted myself some self care. I purchased a new journal, silenced my phone, started a social media fast and a 40 day challenge 🧘🏾‍♀️ (will post more about that down the line).

I’ve enjoyed journaling over the years. I usually purchase a journal with some inspirational quotes, affirmations or scripture verses. So at first I thought this journal was too simple, but it’s growing on me ✍🏾. It was especially kismet this morning when the prompt matched the theme of today.

Maybe we didn’t participate in the civil rights movement that changed the fate of a nation like , 🙌🏾 but every day we get the opportunity to impact someone else’s life through our words and actions. We can also remain vigilant to the calling on our lives by living out our purpose. Any time it seems too hard, remember someone out there is waiting on YOU to be inspired to live his/her purpose. 😌
