Clifford Beers

Clifford Beers A nonprofit innovating mental health care for children and families in Connecticut since 1913.

Mental health and support services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. We are a nationally recognized provider of trauma-informed mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. We serve as the safety net for children and families in the greater New Haven area who cannot afford or gain access to private mental health care. Our whole-family, trauma-informed, integrated model of care is designed to reduce chronic stress and build healthy and supportive connections. The children and families we serve are incredibly resilient, and we believe every individual deserves compassionate and individualized care that improves their health, resiliency, and quality of life. We accept Medicaid (HUSKY) as well as several commercial health insurance providers.

🎃 Happy Halloween👻

As the costumes come out and the night grows spookier, we’re reminded that sometimes the scariest things aren’t monsters or ghosts — they’re the struggles we face inside.

This Halloween, spread understanding, compassion, and support.
*Check in on a friend.
*Take time to rest and recharge.
*Remember — it’s okay to step back from the noise and take care of you.

Your mental well-being matters every day of the year.
From all of us at Clifford Beers, we wish you a safe, kind, and mentally healthy Halloween!
