Mental health and support services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. We are a nationally recognized provider of trauma-informed mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults. We serve as the safety net for children and families in the greater New Haven area who cannot afford or gain access to private mental health care. Our whole-family, trauma-informed, integrated

model of care is designed to reduce chronic stress and build healthy and supportive connections. The children and families we serve are incredibly resilient, and we believe every individual deserves compassionate and individualized care that improves their health, resiliency, and quality of life. We accept Medicaid (HUSKY) as well as several commercial health insurance providers.

Healing Happens Here...

Right now, families in our community are waiting for the intensive psychiatric support their children urgently need. Too many young people are stuck between care that is not enough and crisis care that comes too late.

Children across our community are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, school refusal, behavioral crises, and suicidal thoughts. Providers are full. Waitlists are long. Families are exhausted. Too often, help only arrives after a situation has escalated.

For more than 110 years, Clifford Beers has worked to ensure that children do not fall through the cracks. Please help us continue our work today!
