Huge thank you to the East Haven Fire Department for hosting an outstanding hands-on training for our Emergency Department physicians! 🚒🔥

This immersive session covered critical topics including firefighter personal protective equipment, search and rescue operations, and the medical management of a downed firefighter. The opportunity to learn directly from those on the front lines provided invaluable insight into the unique challenges faced in the fireground environment.

Because of this collaboration, our physicians are even better prepared to deliver exceptional, informed care to the first responders who put themselves in harm’s way every day. Strong partnerships like this make a real difference—thank you for your time, expertise, and commitment to excellence.
