Can baking soda actually help your body detox? Here's the truth. I do love baking soda for its ability to alkalize the body quickly. In a world where so many things make us acidic, conventional coffee, soda, poor diets, stress, something to quickly counteract that each of us has readily available and is so cheap and easy to use could be a huge benefit. Check out this study in the Journal of Immunology. They showed that taking baking soda on a daily basis for two weeks, helped the kidneys detox, helped support a healthy inflammatory response, and helped to basically allow the body to drive detoxification.
