As many of you know, Liz has officially moved to Canada to begin an exciting new chapter in her career. While she will remain connected to Nomad Medical in a more hands-off role, we are incredibly grateful for everything she has poured into this clinic and our community over the years. 💙

We are pleased to welcome Maranda Lentz, NP, as our new provider! Maranda brings years of experience and a genuine passion for caring for families in our area. We are looking forward to you getting to know her and seeing her in the office!

NOVEMBER SCHEDULE ANNOUNCEMENT

Starting November 4th - Schedule with our new PHYSICIAN (yes, an MD)!!

We are proud to announce the arrival of Dr. Rupa Shiva, who will be joining us in office to expand our reach and provide better care for our patients.

We also welcome Lauren McGeehee, CRNP who will join us in office on Thursdays beginning in November and will be taking on our homebound patients.

As our team grows, we ask for your patience and your trust. We will continue to provide the high quality care you depend on, now with the addition of an MD in office.

Our hours will change slightly in November, largely because we have had a significant decrease in volume. We are hoping this will improve now that we are announcing our new team.

Dr. Shiva and Lauren will be covering in clinic and homebound hours posted below, and Liz will have limited telehealth from 3-5 on T/Th.

With a new provider joining our team, our hours are changing to better serve you! We know our schedule may look a little different at times, but as a small clinic in New Hope, we’re working hard to find hours that meet the needs of our community. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make these adjustments.

New Hope Clinic Hours

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM | 1:00 PM –
4:00 PM (by appointment only)

• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM*

• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

✅ Walk-ins welcome!

🌟 Some Thursdays are reserved for Homebound visits—please check with the Front Desk for availability.

📢 New Clinic Hours Starting September 1st 📢

We’ve listened to your feedback and adjusted our hours to better meet the needs of our patients. Beginning September 1st, our new schedule will be:

🕘 Monday: 9 AM – 6 PM
🕗 Tuesday: 8 AM – 5 PM
🕘 Wednesday: 9 AM – 5 PM
🕗 Thursday: 8 AM – 3 PM (unless scheduled as a homebound visit day)
🕗 Friday: 8 AM – 12 PM

We will be CLOSED Monday September 1st in observance of the holiday!

✅ Walk-ins are still welcome, but we do recommend scheduling in advance to help keep wait times down.
💡 As a small clinic, if appointments are completed early, we may close for the day to conserve costs and continue providing the best care possible.

We are recruiting!!
After announcing that Liz would be leaving, we had several patients reach out with interest in "nominating" a new provider.
So if you know of anyone who may be a good fit for our patient-centered practice model - please have them send their resume to nomadprimarycare@gmail.com.
Because of the complexity of patients we see, we will not consider any new graduate NP or PAs at this time.

We’re excited to share that Nomad Medical Services is moving to a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system – AdvancedMD!

👉 Here’s what to expect:
• Text reminders for your appointments will now come from AdvancedMD (instead of Tebra).
• A new patient portal will be available, where you’ll be able to:
✔️ Communicate securely with our team
✔️ Request medication refills
✔️ View and pay your bill online
✔️ & other features still to come

🔑 Important: The patient portal is invite only, please let us know so we can get you set up.

When sending us a message in the portal, please select “General Q&A.” The “Ask Physician/Provider Directly” option will be inactive while we work out the kinks.

⏳ Please note: As we transition to the new system, you may experience slightly longer scheduling times and appointment check-ins. We appreciate your patience as we adjust—these improvements are designed to make your care experience even better in the long run!

📅 Online scheduling: We are still in the process of activating online appointment scheduling. At this time, any appointments made online may not transfer correctly into our system. Please call our office directly to schedule appointments until we announce that online scheduling is fully active.

Another message from Liz:

False alarm.

Our EMR decided to make adding another provider unfeasible - so we have to change our system to another system before the new providers can come on board. This will delay any changes for months.

But be advised we will be going through a system change in the coming months - this will make us a little slower and a little clunky for a while.
