Congratulations to these former North Memorial Health Junior Volunteers who are off to their first year of college with scholarships provided by donors to our Foundation! Each recipient has completed at least 100 hours of volunteering at one of our hospitals, giving their time and energy to help make a difference in the community and gain valuable experience before they even graduate from high school.

Thank you, Junior Volunteers, and best of luck as you begin your new adventure!

Our hearts remain with the victims and their families as we are humbled by the compassion and strength shown by so many. With the long road ahead, we stand with our Minnesota community in sorrow, in support, in healing, and in hope.

It’s been a week since the Annunciation Church attack. Minnesotans and people across the country are showing incredible support to the victims of this tragedy and their families, as well as first responders and hospital care teams at Children's Minnesota, Hennepin Healthcare, and North Memorial Health. There is a long road to healing ahead for everyone. The need for help, and hope, will continue.

Last month, our incredible ambulance team came together to host a blood drive at our Brooklyn Center garage - showing just how powerful community can be when we unite for a cause. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we collected 36 units of blood, offering life-saving support to those who need it most.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who rolled up their sleeves and made this event a success. Your kindness truly makes a difference!

Wishing you a relaxing Labor Day! In observance of the holiday, all Clinics and Urgent Care locations will be closed today. Our Urgency Centers located in Blaine and Minnetonka will close early at 5 p.m. Normal business hours will resume tomorrow, September 2.

After 18 years of caring for others as a Maternal-Fetal Medicine nurse at North, Shawn found herself on the other side of the care experience when she was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation and became a patient. What followed was a journey through unexpected health challenges - and a powerful reminder of the compassion, teamwork, and humanity that define our teams.

From her first visit with a new primary care provider to colleagues who showed support every step of the way and the Heart & Vascular team who listened to each concern, Shawn’s story is a testament to what makes North Memorial Health special - and today, she’s healthy, grateful, and prouder than ever to call this place home.

Earlier this summer we joined the Chaska PD Safety Camp, helping 120 excited 2nd–4th graders learn all about safety - from calling 911 and building emergency kits to bike safety, pet care, and even yoga breathing!

A big shoutout to our Air Care team members, Medic Keith, nurse Kris and Pilot Jon, for giving campers an up-close look at medical safety and emergency response. And thanks to everyone who helped make this camp a memorable and meaningful experience for the next generation of safety superheroes!
