Ever wonder why your eyes are the color they are? 👀

It all comes down to genetics and melanin, the pigment in your iris that controls how light is absorbed and reflected.

🤎 Lots of melanin = brown eyes
💙 Less melanin = blue eyes
💚 Somewhere in between = green or hazel

And here’s a fun twist — eye color is influenced by dominant and recessive genes, so even if both of your parents have brown eyes, you could still end up with green or blue thanks to genes passed down from grandparents.
