May is Asthma Awareness Month — a reminder that more than 26 million Americans are living with asthma, including many in the workforce.

In this month's Healthy Insights, Dr. Sandy Balwan, M.D. shares an important reminder: with spring allergens on the rise, especially in the morning and midday hours, allergy-induced asthma flare-ups become more common — impacting employee health, productivity, and well-being. 🤧

Allergies can trigger asthma symptoms like coughing, wheezing, and difficulty breathing. Without proper management, these flare-ups can lead to more sick days and disrupted routines.

While asthma can't be cured, the good news is: with the right care and support, it can be managed effectively - this month and throughout the year.
