Provider Spotlight: Jonathan Seghorn, APRN, Behavioral Health

As we celebrate National Health Center Week, we’re shining a light on the incredible team members who make community health possible – like Jonathan Seghorn!
A trusted Nurse Practitioner since 2010, specializing in Psychiatry, Jonathan received his MSN from Yale University School of Nursing in 2009.
He enjoys helping empower people to learn to manage their depression, anxiety, and other mental health symptoms independent of medications to give them the confidence that they don’t have to rely solely on medication to do it.
His dedication to improving lives through affordable, compassionate care is what community health is all about. Thank you, Jonathan Seghorn!

As we celebrate National Health Center Week, we’re shining a light on the incredible team members who make community health possible – like Dr. Bryan Granger!
Dr. Granger joined our Vision Center Team in 2023. He earned an Associate of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Midland College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Optometry from the University of Houston, and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston.

He finds it most rewarding to change patients’ lives by improving their vision. Dr. Granger is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force...thank you for your service! His dedication to improving lives through affordable, compassionate care is what community health is all about. Thank you, Dr. Granger!

🌟 Provider Spotlight: Dr. Tasha Benjamin, DDS, Dental Director🌟
As we celebrate National Health Center Week, we’re shining a light on the incredible team members who make community health possible — like Dr. Tasha Benjamin, our dedicated Dental Director!
Dr. Benjamin has been a trusted dentist at St. Martin Parish Community Health Center since 2014. She is a proud graduate of Xavier University of Louisiana and Meharry Medical College where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Benjamin serves as the Dental Director of ICCHC and its satellite locations, and oversees all of our dental operations and dental staff.
Her 10+ years of experience shines through as she focuses on helping to alleviate dental anxiety, promoting comfort and individualized patient care, and expanding dental services throughout the communities we serve. Her top priority in patient care is educating the patients about preventive oral and systemic health education.
Her dedication to improving lives through affordable, compassionate care is what community health is all about. Thank you, Dr. Benjamin! 🦷💊❤️

Staff Spotlight: Carla Shaw McCoy, Patient Support Specialist, Dental

As we celebrate National Health Center Week, we’re shining a light on the incredible team members who make community health possible – like Carla McCoy!
A trusted Patient Support Specialist since 1999, Carla earned an Associate of Science degree in Health Information Management from Re*****on College.
She enjoys being able to calm patients’ fear and anxiety about having dental treatment as the first point of contact in our Dental office. She adds, “witnessing the relief and happiness of a patient after their dental treatment makes me proud to be a longtime employee of ICCHC.”

Provider Spotlight: Andretta Porter-Williams, DDS

As we celebrate National Health Center Week, we’re shining a light on the incredible team members who make community health possible – like Dr. Andretta Porter-Williams!
Fairly new to ICCHC, Dr. Porter-Williams joined our Dental Team in 2024. She is a graduate of Spelman College, Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, and received her Clinical Research Fellowship from the University of Washington.
She finds working with patients to achieve and maintain a health smile the most gratifying aspect of her work.
